Areas of Development

Tyke Town believes children should be offered a fun and stimulating environment to learn and grow to their own unique potential. We believe children learn through their play. This can be seen during learning centers, a time when our students can explore and choose between centers such as homeliving, construction, transportation, dress-up, manipulatives, blocks, art easel, computer, etc. Our Teachers create theme-based curriculum which includes reading, writing, math, music, art, science, world studies and cooking. Our classrooms are set up to include many medias of discovery such as circle time, group table time, story time, learning centers and outdoor play.
